Timothy has a wide range of experience in the development of new businesses associated with product and service development. He has operated in a senior management position within a successful export manufacturer prior to founding Locus Research in 2002. His current focus is on the development of start-up business and business units arising from new product development.
Blythe currently leads the design function within Locus Research and is highly experienced in directing research and development targeted at delivering new creative insights, greater market opportunities, and product/service leadership through effective application of design.
Blythe led the implementation of the Transform Initiative for Textiles New Zealand and was the key liaison with the Foundation for Research Science and Technology.

Rogier has been involved in the development of products and systems for a variety of specialist fields such as medical equipment for the private sector, sporting equipment for professional athletes, cooling and evaporative fan systems and personal care.

Vicky oversees interaction design and digital media. She holds a Masters in Design focusing on interface design, and is an active member of the international user experience community.
Vicky has led the development of our digital media programme since joining Locus Research. She has advised clients on the adoption of social media tools and implemented a number of client sites in both Drupal & Magento.

Teresa Edwards, our office manager, ex-military — enough said. She keeps our two offices organised and running smoothly. Teresa manages the accounts and payroll functions within the office allowing the design team to focus on what it does best. Teresa also provides a support function to Principal Timothy Allan.
Teresa is based at Studio Mauao, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga.
