He has operated in a senior management position within a successful export manufacturer prior to founding Locus Research in 2002. His current focus is on the development of start-up business and business units arising from new product development.
Blythe is a leader in the design field with a string of varied capabilities and experiences, directing his focus on integrating applied research and sustainable design methodologies within the development of new products, services and product service systems.
His experience in research and development work is targeted towards delivering new creative insights, greater market opportunities, and product/service leadership through effective application of design.
Rogier has been involved in the development of products and systems for a variety of specialist fields such as medical equipment for the private sector, sporting equipment for professional athletes, cooling and evaporative fan systems and personal care.

Chris is a proactive, focused and determined professional with four and a half years of experience in Project Engineering and Mechanical Design. His practical experience with design and drafting of special purpose machinery and new product development provides an excellent cross over for product development and innovation.

Zoe's wide and varied experience has given her a well-rounded set of skills as a Graphic Designer. Incorporating a keenly organisational nature and eye for detail, she is able to assess the bigger picture while still paying attention to the smaller elements.
Drawing inspiration from the surroundings of the beautiful Bay of Plenty Zoe is constantly striving to up-skill and produce the highest level of graphic design production. Her clear passion for the visual construction of images in evident in the output of her work.

Teresa Edwards, our office manager, ex-military — enough said. She keeps our two offices organised and running smoothly. Teresa manages the accounts and payroll functions within the office allowing the design team to focus on what it does best. Teresa also provides a support function to Principal Timothy Allan.
Teresa is based at Studio Mauao, Mount Maunganui, Tauranga.
